The first edition of my luxury silk scarves is now available. A small selection of my images, or extracts from my images, have now been printed onto silk chiffon. The digital printing and the hand rolled hemming have both been done in Britain to a very high standard.
The idea began when one of my images was used in a dress and a top and sold by Liv, an ethical online clothing store, in their SS12. The image was printed onto cotton and incorporated as a panel.
Finally we have found somewhere in GB that can print to the desired quality on silk. The chiffon is a very soft tactile floaty fabric which feels luxurious and is a pleasure to wear. Amusingly this can be at variance with the subject matter which, in some of the current collection, is rock!
My images are of nature or of the effects of nature on the man made. Limiting yourself to small everyday areas can often make you look harder and find more. I am drawn to patterns and shape and rhythm often of the small, the unnoticed or the mundane. I have chosen the images for the current collection primarily for their colour and texture.

- Long and narrow c45cm x 175cm: Fluted Rust, Wave of Rock.
- Wide and long: c63cm x 166cm: The Kera of Alam, The Rose of Namib, The Beach Hut, The Orange Line. R
They are packaged in tissue and gift boxes, numbered with a certificate of authenticity.
